Title: Worth It All
Series: The McKinney Brothers #3
Author: Claudia Connor
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: April 19, 2016
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I remember when I first read Worth the Risk, I knew Claudia Connor had a bunch of new stories to tell. Hannah's three brothers still interest me but here we follow JT who is Stephen's brother.
As a part of a series Worth it All is a complete stand-alone and I'll add even more so because JT pushed himself away from his family.
The book was a nice, sweet and beautiful story that I Ioved more and more while reading.
Worth it All is about finding love when you think you are not worth it. It was about going over its belief, to accept yourself and what you did in the past but also feel worthy.
JT's life changed when he got a tragic car accident that caused him to loose one leg and shattered his football dream at the same time. Out of guilt and pain, he decides to move in California to become a biomedical engineer and starts a company to develop prosthesis equipment.
Paige is a single mother working hard to get Casey a home and a life. Casey wears a prosthesis since she was a baby but seems to have some problems with it.
JT meets Paige while she's at work. With the help of a five years old girl and with the bond they create because of their similarities, both our MC starts to spend more and more time together.
What started as help to a little girl quickly evolve into something more. But Paige doesn't believe in fairy-tale and prince charming. And JT doesn't know if it's worthy of a family on his own.
I enjoyed the easy camaraderie settling between JT and Casey & even more the honest relation he shares with Paige. Both are well aware the impact of what their relation can cause to Paige's daughter but also to their own lives.
The moment of truth is to know if they are willing to risk it all.
"With every thrust into her sweet body, three words pulsed in his mind like the blood pounding through his heart.I love you. I love you. I love you."
It was a light-hearted story with an emotional touch. I would definitely recommend the book if you want to read something fun that will put a smile on your face and maybe some tears too.
