That was a fast and torrid read! First book by LP Lovell I read and it won't be my last, especially because I have a feeling the Recherché series is going to be one hell of steamy books. In this one you meet Thor, the one who created the escort agency but there are lots of other people you meet: Xavier, his best friend, Maddox, the all tattoo and manwhore guy - Yes I'm very much interested in him - Kaden, the youngest and Cora - (view spoiler)[ even if I have a little hesitation for her if her story is an f/f, I don't read those (hide spoiler)]
I can feel a lot of dirty reads in the near future with this series and I can't wait. I have a feeling Thor was pretty tame with the description I had of the others.
If you are looking for something that will make you hot and a little flustered, you are in the right place. Sizzling connection, Thor and Poppy can't keep their hands to each other and I'm not one to complain.
"She looks so fucking innocent and I wanted a taste, just a taste of what it’s like to fuck a girl like that. I wanted to corrupt her, ruin her and make her scream my fucking name. It was better than I could have imagined."
Concerning the story, I think I wanted more connection, more get-to- know each other but this being a short story, I got the minimum but it was still great. The relation between Poppy and Thor is sexy and sweet at the same time. It's nothing you haven't seen or read but it works so perfectly.
Mrs Lovell thank you for the steamy ride, and hopefully see you very soon for more dirty encounters within the Recherché series
