Review: Into the ligth by Aleatha Roming

Sara Adams awakes blind, unable to remember the most basic details of her life, but her darkness seems a blessing when she discovers the terrors of The Light.

Stella Montgomery investigates the news on the mean streets of Detroit, where she’s noticed a disturbing trend: young women are vanishing. When her best friend disappears, Stella investigates—despite warnings from her police detective boyfriend—following a twisted trail that leads her through the city’s most dangerous and forsaken precincts. There she uncovers something more sinister than she could have imagined: a shadowy organization known as The Light, led by the enigmatic Father Gabriel.

As Sara struggles to understand her place in the strange world she’s awakened to—an oppressive cult demanding unquestioning obedience—and her feelings for Jacob, the husband she can’t recall and whose harsh and tender attentions confuse and beguile her, Stella risks all to discover the truth. But enlightenment always comes with a price…

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
4.25 Intruiging stars

Ok ok deep breathes.. I honestly don't know how to review this so honestly I'm NOT going to write what it's about. This is going to be a super quick review on my thoughts while reading it..

First I LOVED Aleatha's Consequences series, it was crazzzzyyy to say the least, yet also sensual and intuiging and everything in between. Although this story is different and based on a Cult, what goes on in and out of that, how they should react and how women especially are treated in those circumstances. Aleatha did what she's so good at. Blowing my mind..

This story is Intruiging, it's a page turner. But it's also a slow burn story and I have to say in honest truth I was heading to give this read 3 stars maximum, I was intuiged yet also didn't feel connected to the relationship nor feel the love that was in the midst of every romance I love to read. That said as I've said Aleatha blew my mind and I was left with WHAT JUST HAPPENED??? Questions, senarios, and more questions that need answering dammit! SHOCKING but what will you get while your reading this?

* A book on a Cult as the main theme of the story, my advice just keep reading. I didn't understand everything myself. I'm a true romance addict and there were moments I didn't feel that. As the cult is the core of this read, but listen to me KEEP FN READING, JUST KEEP ON!

* It was a sensual read of sorts, maybe not necessarily the romance to begin with but it came and when it did I just loved Jacob and his ability to love and protect what's his. To do what he needed to do to have a wife. To be a brother. (Yup saying no more)

* It had me on the edge of my seat the more I read, the more I got into it and the more it challenged my brain. It made me think, made me dwell, made me question what was happening. Or what's not happening lol..

Anyway I ended up really enjoying this, so yes I'll recommend it to you guys. Just keep reading, keep going you'll get there I'm sure just like me..

But for the love of God, I need book two like NOWWWW..

That. Is . All
