5 FIERCELY BEAUTIFUL STARS
The Will is CLASSIC KA -- perfection. This is a heartwarming, sweet and truly beautiful tale with lessons of love, loss, life, great big doses of humour, steamy hot sex and loads of vintage KA Alpha.
Jake Spear is ALL Alpha male: a hot, sexy, demanding, retired boxer who is pure sweet and did I mention sexy and hot?
“You are not a fool,” he whispered. “You can never be a fool. You’re total class from top to toe. You’re also a klutz. Own that, baby, because it’s cute and because it’s you. If you learn to accept yourself just as you are, learn to laugh at your quirks instead of hating them, show the world all that’s you without tryin’ to hide things that are not even a little unattractive, that makes you more attractive. What you got is a fuckuva lot. You own all of it and let it all hang out, you’ll go off-the-charts.”
And not only that but, he is also an awesome dad to his three kids – Conner, Amber and Ethan. All of them are great but the youngest, Ethan, is just the best. Loved Jake for so many reasons but his being a great father was the shit and that’s why Jake is among many of KA’s other great dads like Tack, Tate, Joe.
Then there is Josephine Malone (Josie). At first, she seems an unlikely match for Jake. While Josie does take a little bit of warming up too, just like she’s described in the book, once you get past the prim and proper façade, she is all sweet and warm and absolutely hilarious without even meaning to be!
“I’d give him everything. If I had the power, I’d give him the world.” …”There’s nothing better than Jake.”
In typical KA style, there are lots of memorable and heartwarming moments as well some very hot and steamy sex scenes. My favourite moment is (view spoiler)[the locker room after the fight. HOT AS HELL!!
”Nothin’ better,” she said quietly, her eyes dancing. “A fighter after a fight, all that aggression, all that adrenaline still flowing. I love fight night.” (hide spoiler)]
“It’s never too late to reach for happiness and no matter what life has done to you, it’s never too late to find it.”
