Review: Challenge by Amy Daws

descriptionHe’s her patient. She’s his doctor. They shouldn’t. But God, do they want to.

Camden Harris, the famously hot, hulk of a footballer is laid up in a London hospital. But his busted knee doesn’t stop him from running his well-practiced game on Indie Porter—his redheaded spitfire of a doctor. She’s not his type, not even close. But she could be the perfect distraction from the soul-crushing damage this injury could cost him.

Indie’s tired of her naivety putting a target on her back. As a gifted child, she’s let her education take the front seat her whole life. But a fling with a footballer like Camden might be just what she needs to grab life by the balls.

And he could be the perfect guy for the plan she’s been sitting on for over two years.

But when feelings make a final play, there’s no amount of medicine that can heal the damage to their hearts.

Challenge was the first book I read by Amy Daws and mark my word it won't be my last! I already heard talking about her through one of my friends and I also "bought" for free two of her London Lovers Series books this summer so I just need time and I'll jump on them asap.
I wasn't planning on making a review but I'm going to do a small one anyway because the book was that good!

Challenge has all the qualities of a promising book. It starts with a hot football (soccer) player and a good laugh. After 2% Amy Daws already won me over! I was already convinced I was going to have a good time. And what more do you need with books?

Camden & Indie were two pleasant characters and their banter was so damn funny! Their puns were hilarious, her penis list was priceless and his ritual was memorable! I swear I'll never see football the same way ever again. And I'm a big fan of football. Thank you Amy! ;)

Camden is without a doubt book boyfriend material. He's caring, attentive even if he has his bad boy player ways. Football is his life and Indie turn his world upside down but he handle it naturally.

“I’m not cocky. I’m certain.”

Indie was an interesting character. Light at first she has more to offer than just a medical student who needs to stay focused. She has a though background that made me want to hug her hard.

Challenge was more than just a sport romance. It has a refreshing vibe with lots of laughs and swoon-worthy moments.
And to know that there's more to come is exhilarating. Camden has brothers but do I want the obvious to be next? Maybe not, Tanner is good but Gareth calls me more!

"I’m in a place I never want to leave. A place I never want to say goodbye to. A place I never want to let go. Just sinking further and further into a world I’ve never known."
