Review: Deliver by Pam Godwin

descriptionHis name was Joshua Carter. Now it's whatever she wants it to be.
She is a Deliverer.
She lures young men and delivers them to be sold. She delivers the strikes that enforce their obedience. She delivers the sexual training that determines their purchase price.
As long as she delivers, the arrangement that protects her family will hold.
Delivering is all she knows.
The one thing she can't deliver is a captive from slavery.
Until him.
And her stubborn slave thinks he can deliver her...from herself.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I'm probably one of the last to read this book so I'm going to keep my review short but OMG I loved this book and I loved both Liv & Joshua so much!

My rating is a 4 stars only because some aspects weren't realistic but to some extent I could understand that this is a romance book, this is fiction so who cares about reality anyway?

I read most of Pam Godwin's book so getting back to one of her first book was fantastic because her writing, even if she continues to improve, stays true to what I've already read from her. From the start she kept me on my toes and I was biting my nails nearly until the last chapter.

All the twists and turns were brilliantly done!Pam kept surprise me throughout the book. It's why I keep coming back for more with this author. I can never guess what she'll put me and her characters through.

Deliver is most definitely not for everyone. It's a dark read with lots of triggers but as I said in the past I feel lucky to be one reader who can stomach a lot of taboos subjects and not be offended or touched by it.

Liv was an exceptional character. I couldn't be more impressed by her, what she does and how she does it. She constantly surprised me and Joshua was the perfect match for her.

Where to begin with Joshua? I don't even know. His perception on things surrounding him was really perfect. He's abducted but his strong mind help him see beyond everything that occurs. His attraction and then the love he has in him and for Liv was perfectly detailed and described.
I loved Liv's pov but it's Josh who was the most gripping.

In short, if you love dark reads, this one should be in your TBR asap, no questions asked!
